Tuesday on AOA, powered by Cenex Premium Diesel, we start the show with Ben Johnston, COO of Kapitus, who shares thoughts on the current state of the agriculture and overall economies amid war, inflation and so much more. In Segment Two, National Corn Growers Association President Jed Bower joins us for a conversation. We then spend the rest of the show talking about the history of meat in America as historian and author Maureen Ogle joins the show. Ogle’s latest book, The Price of Plenty: A History of Meat In America, provides an excellent look into how politics and policies shape agriculture, including livestock production, and thus food prices. We learn about the book and have a wide-ranging discussion in the back half of today’s AOA.
