On Friday’s AOA, powered by Cenex, we discuss USDA data, markets, the ag economy and so much more. For the first part of the show, we talk with Dr. Seth Meyer, Director of the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute at the University of Missouri. As a former Chief Economist at the USDA, we get his perspective on recent concerns about USDA data response and also discuss the broader picture in the 2026 ag economy amid war, geopolitics, input costs and more. Then in the second half of the show, we talk with Zaner Ag Hedge Chief Market Analyst Karen Braun who discusses some of the recent market moves following USDA reports, geopolitical headlines and more. We get her take on how weather could start to play a bigger role in the markets and how funds are positioned in the grain complex right now.
